Shirley with Love – Our Story

Shirley with Love was founded in 2024 by South Australian husband and wife duo, Evan and Jess—parents to four young children under five. Like many growing families, they were searching for a simpler, more natural way to care for their children’s skin—free from harsh chemicals and filled with ingredients they could trust.

With a shared passion for meaningful, purpose-driven work, Evan and Jess combined their creativity and care to build something beautiful—a brand rooted in love, connection, and nature. Drawing on their experience in creating brands with heart and intention, they began crafting skincare from locally sourced, vitamin-rich beef tallow, blended with gentle, nourishing oils. What started in their home kitchen soon became a deeper mission—not just to soothe skin, but to help families slow down and reconnect.

The name “Shirley” comes from a special chapter in Evan’s childhood. At just five years old, he was gifted a cow named Shirley—a beloved companion he helped raise and always remembered fondly. Today, her name lives on as a symbol of warmth, simplicity, and care—the values at the heart of everything they do.

Knowing how quickly life moves with little ones, Evan and Jess also wanted to create a way for families to pause and bond. That’s how the Connection Pack was born—a thoughtful collection of relaxation cards featuring gentle farm animal themes, designed by local Fleurieu Peninsula artist Pip Kruger to help parents and children share calm, mindful moments together—at bedtime or whenever they need to regulate emotions.

From skincare that soothes to rituals that connect, every element of Shirley with Love is crafted with purpose, honesty, and deep respect for nature—and for the beautiful, messy magic of raising little humans.
